Never was a big fan of the Bebas font, but it is the favourite among my students. I always preferred the Trade Gothic or the Univers typeface. But now the Bebas comes with four new weights and we are all happy about that.
The big feature about the Bebas is the price… it’s free so check it out along other free fonts from Fontfabric.
9 heartsMisty shroud of regrets is an album by french pianist Philippe Blanche aka Day Before Us.
>Inspired by the work of the russian photographer Yulia Kazban, the piano and field recordings are fighting for a gloomy survival, perpetuated in the place where the cry is born.
It’s an ancient magic, the forest becomes wave, the wind on the leaves imponderable but restless, so that sound chase sound, until the next beginning.
Martin Vlach, humans in black and white.
Beneath the vine-clad eaves, Whose shadows fall before Thy lowly cottage door–Under the lilac’s tremulous leaves–Within thy snowy clasped hand The purple flowers it bore. Last eve in dreams, I saw thee stand, Like queenly nymph from Fairy-land–Enchantress of the flowery wand, Most beauteous Isadore!

8 heartsA short selection of anime in music video clips; the list could be way longer but only a few caught my attention more than others.
“The Music Scene” by Blockhead is an organic over the top animation filtered by explosions of colours. The visuals seem to be as one with the flow of the song. Enter the void.
DYE came out pretty strong with this shonen driven anime. Great song and quite a surprise if you were to expect some sweat child-friendly visuals + script. Please more…
On the third video by Ken Ishii you may recognize the style of Koji Morimoto (animation director of Akira, director of Memories -Magnetic Rose- etc.). Some inverted colours parts felt a bit cheap but the overall addictive cyberpunk feel made it to the selection.
There will probably be a part 2 of this post, so stay tuned.

Spanish graphic designer Mark Brooks in his long logo collection. He has the ability to create both simple, coeherent shapes and illustrated one-offs. The small and often non conventional changes in lettering establish an even more memorable logo.
My favourites are Turbine Records and Fuck the dark side, check this one out on his website.
9 heartsKolmanskop, an old mining town in Namibia, is a kingdom of sand.
More than dilapidated, houses and rooms seems big hourglasses that measure absence, the unique landscape extension on the mutable skin of the desert.
