I’d love to say that I’m a life long photographer. The truth is that I spent too many years thinking about it and not doing it.
And so, in 2010 a friend who was returning to Brazil sold me her DSLR. Equipped with what I considered a modern camera, I set about finally trying to learn how to make photographs.
Within a year, I thought it would be fun to buy a 35mm camera.
My photography has now become a marriage of analogue and digital both with cameras and processing. Film negatives are scanned into a digital domain. They are post processed with software and shared electronically. For me, this hybrid photography is a perfect mix of my own past and future.
