Gik_ is an experimental project that was created in Cátedra Wolkowicz, UBA 2016. It’s a science fiction channel, aimed at people interested in space culture, computers and general science… It works by hacking, surprising users in order to direct them to it’s content.
Idents are based on topics from science fiction, such as space conquest (Trump ID), men with superpowers (Messi ID) or Man Vs. Machine (Kaptcha ID), linking general culture to specific content from the channel.

Originally the work was done in Spanish language, translated for this presentation afterwards. That is why the name Gik_ (a “loan” of “geek”), in Spanish sounds the same but is written differently.

Trentemøller has crafted a logical successor to 2013’s ‘Lost’ – a record that in many ways managed to truly capture the visceral live experience of Trentemøller as a full-band.
In much the same manner that ‘Lost’ built on from the somber cinematic classic that was ‘Into The Great Wide Yonder’, ‘Fixion’ has embraced the Danish artist’s trademark melancholy and matured it into something uniquely atmospheric and darkly romantic.

This sign I have had ever since I was a child. The sign is a voice which comes to me and always forbids me to do something which I am going to do, but never commands me to do anything, and this is what stands in the way of my being a politician.
